Report 1: Get Your Body Ready[]
On December 4th 2013, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said he was open to the idea of him being playable in Smash Bros 4! Series creator and director Masahiro Sakurai said he might consider putting Reggie in if a petition gets at least 100,000 signatures. Though Reggie said it was most likely a joke considering the fact Wii Fit Trainer, Mr.Game & Watch and R.O.B were included it doesn't too sketchy. If he were to be included I think he would take on a more cartoony appearance similar to Wii Fit Trainer or would use his Mii.

Report 2: Ness and Jigglypuff in Super Smash Bros. 4?[]
Though I'm very late to report this considering no one mentioned it, might as well. On October 18, 2013 an apparent leak of the smasher Ness was posted on Reddit. Coincidently another picture involving Ness (and Jigglypuff) "leaked" near a month later.
I like the art. I also think the background color really suits him.
Two of my favorite characters in Smash Bros. in the same picture! It's too good to be true! Of course it is, it's dream killing time.
Now these pictures look the part don't they? Aside from the official Ness art being a bit too tall. Well Smashboard user "Splat" is here to mercilessly kill this rumor. And my hopes and dreams.
My worst nightmare. The truth.
While it was a pretty convincing rumor he forgot to take in one big facor: Ness' in game Brawl model doesn't have teeth. Other than that it's appears to be just another hoax. We know better than to listen to some shady guy on Facebook. I hope whoever made that art claims it if it's just a rumor because that is too good to go to waste.. It would've been a really nice however to see Ness get that little bit taller. Instead of you know, remaining the same midget he is for 3 games.

Report 3: Gyroid Rider[]
Today it was confirmed that one of Villager's Special moves would be the Lloid Rocket!
What a unique projectile!
As stated by Sakurai, Villager has the choice between staying on Lloid or letting him fly away. If he chooses to stay on Lloid he can control his speed AND it hits harder! Our three newcomers are turning out to be some of the more unique Smashers to date. Lucky little Villager, getting two Pics of the Day in one week.

Report 4: Release Date?[]
Oh yeah! Gamestop is here! Whether you love them or you hate them (especially for giving you that cheap yellow paper as a case) they've got news I'm sure you're interested in (otherwise you wouldn't be on this blog) the news they've about to give! According the video game retailer Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is releasing April 8th 2014, yes THAT close. Of course it could be only a rumor but according to my source as often as it's a rumor with Gamestop, it's the truth with Gamestop! While I was personally expecting Super Smash Bros. 4 to get a Holiday 2014 release, considering the game has been in development since February 2012 I say it may be plausible. Unlike Brawl's development it isn't left to Nintendo alone: Namco Bandai is also pitching in to help develop the game. Another thing that makes this rumor a bit more plausible is the fact that a story mode (like Subspace and it's cutscenes) isn't taking up development time. Whatever happens hopefully it won't be delayed as hard as Brawl was (a year and four months).

Report 5: Return of Assist Trophies and Skull Kid![]
As of December 6th, 2013 Assist Trophies have returned and our first assist: Skull Kid has been revealed!
I can here the Majora's Mask fans creaming their pants with joy right now.
While we aren't sure what he does, it's nice to see a beloved character(s) come to Smash, even if it is just in Assist Trophy form. What do you think Skull Kid's return to Smash (as an Assist Trophy). Tell me in the comments section below.
