His crown is disgarded once he reaches 100% or if he loses it when using Kremling Krown. After losing the crown his moves become a lot more savage and harder to control but hit harder. For instance the ball fired during Kremling Kannon is automatically spiked and zigzagged.

Spike

Special Moves

  • Neutral Special: Slingback Shooter (Can be executed quickly or be held back, if held back for longer, the ammo becomes Guided Pellets instead.)
  • Side Special: Dash Hoop (A long dash using the Dash Hoop. More effective if used when standing still, less effective if used in the air.)
  • Up Special: Sky Flyer (Spike takes the Sky Flyer out and uses it to throw himself up higher in the air. Spike's descent is slow unless the move is cancelled.)
  • Down Special: Magic Punch (Counter move, if someone attacks Spike while he holds the Magic Punch out, the fist will come and attack. Much like in the original games, it's power, range and speed are very good.)
  • Final Smash: Super Satellite Laser Cannon (Spike readies the Satellite Laser from Million Monkeys, and sends a beam down from space which can be directed. Unlike other directable Final Smashes, it doesn't slant, but moves across the stage much faster.)

Standard Attacks

  • Standard Attack: Several stun club swings, if mashed, Spike will spin with the stun club out.
  • Strong Side: Big angled slash with both stun clubs.
  • Dash Attack: Tripping over, similar to Villager.
  • Strong Up: Upwards stun club swing.
  • Strong Down: Sliding across the floor.

Smash Attacks

  • Side Smash: Spike prepares the stun club for a monkey, but said monkey escapes from him and the stun club hits the opponent in a motion similar to a baseball swing.
  • Up Smash: Spike readies his net, only for a monkey to jump up and run away.
  • Down Smash: RC Car is placed forward, the explosion is devastating, but it doesn't go backwards.

Aerial Attacks

  • Neutral Air: A stun-club swing in the air, he spins around 720 degrees. The move has a windbox that keeps opponents in for the rest of the move if they're hit by it.
  • Forward Air: Spike uses the Water Net to launch a small net at the opponent, has a lot of stun if it lands. Net is slanted downwards.
  • Back Air: GetNet is swung backwards.
  • Up Air: The Slingback Shooter is shot upwards, giving off a Normal Pellet. However, at 100% or higher it becomes an Explosive Pellet.
  • Down Air: Magic Punch downwards, with a meteor effect.

Grabs

  • Grab: Throws the GetNet over the opponent.
  • Pummel: Spike hits the opponent with the Stun Club, strong yet slow pummel.
  • Forward Throw: An swing to the head with the Stun Club, leaves them in stun for a few moments but does little damage.
  • Back Throw: Double-hitting move, Spike throws the Bananarang forward and the throw ends as it hits the opponent while travelling backwards.
  • Up Throw: Spike drives the RC Car towards the opponent, the resulting explosion sends them at an angle directly above Spike.
  • Down Throw: The opponent is "transported" above and behind Spike, at a similar angle to Cloud's down throw.
